Services to the Community We are on call 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to provide any of our services. Within our district, LEU is the primary response for all water related calls: Swift Water Rescue Dive Rescue Ice Rescue LEU is primarily a mutual aid response agency: We assist Police, Fire and EMS with: Air Cascade Support for structure fires and Haz-Mat scenes Firefighter Rehab Medical Support (EMT's and First Responders) Vehicle Extrication Project Lifesaver Scene or Command Lighting Uphill Evacuation Cross-River (Rope) Evacuation Traffic or Crowd Control Crime Scene Searches Searches for Lost Citizens Situations that require our 8-Wheel ATV Emergency Citizen Evacuations Body Recovery Any other calls where our equipment or man power is needed.

In addition we provide a Weekend Duty Crew for the City of Longmont:

Our "Duty Crew" is an in-uniform crew that is dispatched directly by the Longmont Police Department to respond along with their officers to the following situations:

• The City of Longmont:
  • Duty Crew from 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight on Friday and from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight on Saturdays.
  • Called out at any time for any of the services we provide.

• Hygiene Fire Protection District:
  • LEU has a mutual aid agreement to supply medical support for their district. We are paged to respond to all medically related calls to assist Paramedics/EMS, including injury accidents.
    

• Lyons Fire Protection District:
  • Automatic mutual aid on all confirmed structure fires for air cascade support.
    

• Mountian View Fire Protection District

• Allenspark Fire Department

• Mutual Aid response to radio pages for service anywhere in Boulder County and surrounding areas.
